Jul 23, 2020 The BIG-designed CopenHill power plant, which includes everything from Architecture, World Tallest Climbing Wall, Sustainable architecture, 

designed by BIG-bjarke ingels group and landscape architecture firm SLA, the project 2019-10-10 2019-10-07 2019-10-06 Copenhill: Amager Bakke – Winner for the year 2020 in architectural design. Design: Architect: BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group; Partners in charge: Bjarke Ingels, David Zahle, Jakob Lange, Brian Yang; Project leaders: Jesper Boye Andersen, Nanna Gyldholm Møller, Claus Hermansen. Neveplast developed a custom surface for the 450 meters long CopenHill slope with five different color nuances.The aim was to make the slope look like a natural mountain field. By populating the roof with hundreds of indigenous trees, bushes, grasses and flowers, the landscape architects of SLA tried to turn the alpine park into a natural extension of the Copenhagen topography. The 41,000 sq m CopenHill project was designed by BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group architecture firm, which has offices in Copenhagen and New York City. The engineering work was led by the MBG Joint Venture, which featured MOE Consulting Engineers, of Copenhagen, now part of the Artelia Group, and Geo, based in the Copenhagen suburb of Kongens Lyngby.
